Greener by design™

Greener by design™, the refrigerated Thermo Scientific™ X4 and S4 Series Centrifuges use GreenCool™ Technology with R290, a natural refrigerant with a GWP of just 3—up to 475× lower environmental impact than conventional refrigerants—and include an end-of-life recycling program in the US.

Manufactured in Thermo Fisher Scientific’s zero- waste Center of Excellence in Osterode am Harz, Germany, the X and S Series centrifuges are powered by 100% renewable electricity and fully compliant with RoHS and WEEE directives for environmentally responsible manufacturing.
